About KŌM

We started KŌM because having trusted data for decisions shouldn't be a luxury item.

Big enterprise spends millions putting their data to work.

Everyone else is stuck with downloads, spreadsheets and pivot tables.

Not having timely access to your data can be the difference between profit and loss – so we built the fix.

Knowledge should be the status quo.

Most data platforms are priced and scoped for companies with a data team on payroll. If you’re a small or mid-size organization, the math never works: the platform costs more than the answers are worth, so the answers stay locked in your systems.

KŌM is purpose-built for that gap. We connect the systems you already run — no rip-and-replace, no new software for your team to learn — and we’re live in 6 to 12 weeks, not 18 months.

The work pays for itself along the way, because every hour someone isn’t building a report by hand is an hour back in your budget.

“Knowledge” is the inspiration for our name — the thing your organization already has, waiting for someone to go get it.

"Your data already knows the answer. Our job is to automate the getting and connecting — at a price that makes sense for the size you actually are.

leadership

Two founders, thirty companies, one obsession.

Before KŌM, we spent our careers building data products for some of the biggest names in tech.

Now we built a solution for organizations like yours.

Tammy Torkleson, founder of KOM Analytics

Tammy Torkleson

Founder

Took Roku’s ad platform from $0 to $50M in 3 years

Tammy is a lifelong technologist and database architect who has spent her career turning data into products people actually pay for. She built the data business that became intellectual property for TV Guide, and her ad tech powered the smart TV interfaces on Samsung, Sony, and LG screens.

She was the second hire on the team that built Roku’s ad platform, helping take it from zero to $50 million in revenue in three years. Alongside Kevin, she runs a startup studio that has launched more than 30 companies over the last decade.

Kevin Harris, founder of KOM Analytics

Kevin Harris

Founder

First Identity Management System — acquired by Cerner

Kevin is a software engineer’s software engineer, happiest at the bleeding edge and relentless about testing the limits of what code can do. That drive has produced hundreds of enterprise applications and data warehousing projects over his career.

His very first attempt at building an Identity Management System was purchased by Cerner — the healthcare technology giant — which tells you most of what you need to know about how he builds. With Tammy, he has launched over 30 companies through their startup studio.
